Mrs. Freda Cheung

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Freda moved to Vancouver to pursue high school education when she was a teenager. After graduating from UBC and obtaining her CPA, she married Rev. Jim Cheung and relocated to Calgary. She became a mother while in Calgary and then again after moving back to Vancouver. Today, Freda is the President and CEO, Asia Pacific of a multinational organization, managing over 5,000 employees spanning across 10 countries. She resides in Singapore with her husband, while her adult children Jonah and Jamie continue to live in Vancouver. With over 30 years of experience in the business world, 17 of which in an executive role, Freda is passionate about sharing her journey as a Christian living out her faith at work. In particular, how does one ground herself in the word of God when surrounded by competing or conflicting priorities? How does one center herself in Jesus when surrounded by non-believers daily? What does it really mean to honor God at work? Freda looks forward to sharing her story of God’s faithfulness with you.
