Topic: Being Christian in a Secular Society
Time: Dec 29, 2018 3pm
Canada is increasingly a secular society; and what we need to ask is this: what does a Christian presence and witness look like and feel like when the society in which we are located is marked by either ambivalence towards religion or hostility towards any kind of religious faith? This symposium will include a presentation based on the New Testament epistle of 1 Peter and then a time of dialogue and conversation by those who are present.
