Pastor Aaron and his wife April are thrilled to be on the journey God has called them on as church planters. In 2013, they moved into the Alberta Avenue neighbourhood and began a house church there under the guidance of mosaicHouse Church. In 2014 they began Sunday services as Avenue Church, gathering at the Carrot Coffeeshop. God has continued to grow Avenue Church as a network of house churches throughout the city seeking to worship God and make disciples in local contexts while still having a special focus on Alberta Avenue and surrounding communities. Aaron and April are thrilled to call Alberta Avenue home and have felt so welcomed and loved in this diverse and exciting community, found in the heart of the City of Edmonton.
In addition to his other career as a professional violinist, Aaron loves sports and is a part-time chaplain of the University of Alberta Golden Bears. He is also learning the many joys and challenges of being a new Dad to one year old Ethan.
